Marie was born in Kentucky and resided in many states coast to coast, until Florida became her home thirty-three (33) years ago. For twenty (20) years she worked in the finance industry as a stockbroker eventually having her own firm. Thirteen (13) years ago she changed her career path and became a bookkeeper for several clients allowing her the freedom of working from home.  It is then that she felt a desire to create and manufacture her own jewelry line known as Buddhafy Me www.buddhafyme.com.  She has always felt a connection with Buddhism beliefs and spirituality expressing it in her creations. She has always wanted to practice the art of Yoga and being awarded this amazing scholarship gift has been the incentive she needed to begin a new journey in her spiritual and physical growth … Paying it forward, one yogi at a time!
